What is included in the home lift removal service?

If you have a homelift that you need removing from your property then Anglian Lifts should be your first port of call.

With hundreds of domestic and commercial lifts already removed for our clients, our fully qualified engineers are well versed in the standards you expect. From simple straight stairlift removal to full home lift and through floor lift removal and reinstating the ceilings and floors we have you covered, we are able to accommodate most requests and requirements.

With home lifts and through floor lift removal there is a little bit more involved compared with stairlift removal, however this can still usually be achieved in less than a days work, as a through floor or home lift involved structural changes to your home removing them will leave a couple of supplementary jobs that need to be done, for example filling the hole in the floor so no one can fall through it and making it safe (we do this part), please see below the included and excluded items in this service.

Full removal of the home lift or through the floor lift
Removal of any pumps/cables/external machinery
Reinstatement of floor joists within the aperture
Secured plywood replacement flooring within the aperture in the upstairs room
Plaster boarding of the aperture hole in the ceiling in the downstairs room ready for plastering
Making good (filling) holes in walls, left ready to be sanded
Remove from site and disposal of the lift in accordance with regulations
Cleaning (vacuuming) of the lift area after removal

What is not included in our home lift removal service?

Plastering of the ceilings (area will be left ready for plastering)
Decoration of walls, ceilings or woodwork
Replacement or repair of the carpets (this can be arranged for you via a third party if required)
